Trades for 28th November, 2012

Trade 1

Short    GG               Form our watch list.

                                 Entry  38.15/Stop 38.25

Long     GG            Entry  38.67/Stop  38.50

We waited on this for a long time. It touched .50 and bounced.
Ran up to .80  and before we could take any profits it was back to .67.
We got out to b/e. Had we taken at least 1/3 we would've stayed in the
trade. But  alas!. After we got out  it ran up $1.00!

Trade   2

Short  DG               From our watch list.

                                Entry   49.50/Stop  49.60

WE never got the chance to get in to the trade. It moved above .60
and later fell below. 50 and bounced right back.didn't go anywhere
                               after all.

We  had two losses and a b/e trade  today. We did not want to risk money
in to another trade today. So we just walked away. There was SRPT where
we could've made enough to cover our loses and more. But key to
survival is discipline.Tomorrow is  another day.

See how we took smaller size in the second trade ,yet managed to
come out green at the end!.You need to know your
                              trade management.

Trade 2

Long  FB            From our watch list.

The one we loved to short we are going long this time.

FB hit      25.86 before turning back on us .
So we covered  last 1/4  at .70   for +.60
FB meandered along and finally hit 26.09.

This was a pretty good trade for us.

                           risk/ Return      .10/.60  =   600 %

Trade  3

Short   BBBY            From our watch list again.

SPY analysis

We predicted before open that SPY would most likely form
an inside bar and to limit our expectations  because we didn't
anticipate the market move much in either direction.

See how the SPY behaved. It did form an inside bar.(last green bar).

Trades for 23rd November,2012

Trade

Friday was a day where we would've been better  off not trading
at all. As we said at the begining of week, there was no volume .

We tried to short and then go long Mo twice, both times unsuccessfully.

We lost  -10 and -.06 respectively  trading 1/3 of our normal size.

Trades for 20th November,2012

Trade 1

Short  HPQ                  From our watch list.

Last night HPQ reported a major write down .So we added
                                    HPQ to our short list.

                                   Entry    11.53 /   Stop  11.60      risk= .07

                                  Target   1     11.40                      1/3  +.13
                                  Target   2     11.00                      Never hit.Lowered stop to .55
                                                                                     2/3   stopped out -.02

                                  Second entry    11.67 /Stop  .75   risk= =.08   2/3 position

                                  Target   1          11.50                1/2    +.10
                                  Target   2          11.00                stopped out -.08

We traded our plan. But the trade went against us,eventhough we
                                  made a little money.

Nothing to write home about, but we were glad to take what we could.

Trade  2

Short CLF                   CLF we added to our watch list in the morning only.

CLF gaped down at open. And was moving down.WE waited for
it to retrace and looked for a short entry.

                                   Entry    31.57 /stop 31.97     risk=.30

                                   Target   1      31.00                1/2    +.57
                                   Target   2      30.50                1/4    +1.07
Target   3      30.00                Never hit.(we were waiting on the bid)
                                   Target   4      29.00                Never hit.

CLF dropped down to 30.16  and bounced back .
We lowered  our stop to  .50  and stopped out again for +1.07

                                   risk/Return    .30/1.07    =356%

We made great money  to compensate for the lackluster performance
of our HPQ trade. But r/R was mediocre. If we hit 30 it  our r/R
would've been  500%. Nevertheless it was a great trade considering
                                   lazy trading leading to Thanksgiving.

We will not be expecting much from the market tomorrow.By noon
we will very likely  call it a day, because most traders will be
taking planes, trains and automobiles to head home.

We were watching TGT fro a few days.

Trade  2

Long ANF                       From our watch list.

This came to our attention  because of recent earnings.

We missed the early entry  into ANF. So we kept stalking
                                       ANF for a secondary entry.

                                       Entry      43.30
                                       Stop        43.21

                                       Target     1  43.50           1/2  +.20
                                       Target     2  43.75           1/4  +.45
                                       Target     3  44.00          Never hit.

We raised our stop  to .60     We were stopped 1/4 for +.30

It continued afterwards climbing  to 43.85 just before bell.

This week things will slow down to a crawl towards Thanksgiving.
By Wednsday  we expect the volume to dry out and hardly any
movement  on Friday as most traders would  not bother  showing
up. So proper trading should resume on Monday. So we plan to trade
accordingly.Slowly and taking whatever we can get, in  light trading.

                                Target     2  53.00                       Never hit   1/2 -.20

All told we had a nice trade.

See how we took 1/3 posions in second and third entries.
We only take a calculated risk. So money managment

Trades  for 15th November,2012

Trade 1`

Short GILD                         GILD again.  Third day in a row.

GILD gaped down at open. Moved higher and collapsed.

                                 Entry    71.51
Stop      71.80       This is a wide stop!. So to mitigate risk we took
a   smaller position than we would normally take.

We were stopped out in a minute! lost -.31

This is where your position sizing come into play.If not  this would 've
been a devastating blow. You have to control your risk.

                               Second entry.

Even though GILD took us out  we realised it was drifting down
                               again.

                               Entry      71.75
Stop        71.80      More palatable stop .

We went in with full position.

                                Target    1          71.50               We took  1/2 +.23
                                Target    2          71.25                               1/4 +.55
Target    3          71.00               Never hit .Covered more +.45

Lowered stop to  71.50            Stopped out rest for +.25

                                risk/Return      =.05/55  = 1100%

We were well ahead of the game even after taking a lose the first time
                                 becasue of  intelligent   share sizing.

See how   GILD took off from exactly where we covered!.

Trade   2                   How to trade a stock  when you missed the train.

Short     DHI                 From our watch list.

We were watching DHI  to go long.It bounced off prematurely
just below 18. Our entry was  17.80 .We thought we missed the
train and just let it go .We were looking for other opportunities
when  DHI reversed and dropped to 17.77 ,just under our entry
and then took off.We  didn't see it until it was half way up.
We never chase stocks, but we were stalking it  waiting for it to
                                     run out of gas.

                                      Entry      18.97
                                      Stop        19.10

                                      Target     1          18.80             1/2  +.18
                                      Target     2          18.60             1/4  +.37
                                      Target     3          18.45             1/4  +.52

                                       risk/Return        .13/52         =400%

DHI dropped to  18.41 before bouncing off.

Rather than chasing  DHI  higher we were patiently waiting
for an ambush and it paid off. Not as much as if we went long.
But half a loaf is better than no bread at all.

Remember: You never chase stocks  for a trade.Let the trade
                                                         come to you.
